 Practice: Words With Coptic Letters That Look Like English
 

Below is a list of words that you should already be able to pronounce.  Each word's meaning is given.  The Egyptian-Arabic pronunciation is also given for the words that have Egyptian-Arabic equivalents.

Follow these simple steps to practice the Coptic that you already know:
     1. Look at the word and it's meaning.
     2. Try to say the Coptic word.  Go back to lesson one if you're not sure about a letter.
     4. Click the to hear how the word is actually pronounced.
